2020 Demo Reel Breakdown

0:07-0:15 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Full CG sequence, extensive comp work was required to make explosions look forceful and chaotic.
Tripled the amount of explosions in comp and added directional interactive light.

0:16-0:30 “The Flash”
Slow motion shot finished with lightning elements from our library.
Integrated CG shards and boomerang.
Added interactive light and reflections from the lightning and environment.

0:31-0:41 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Created vixen “Ashe” look.
Comped, matched, and integrated it throughout multiple seasons of the show.
In this sequence, each animal had a different looking CG element and extensive comp work was required to get them all to match the consistent established look.
Added glowing eyes and amulet to Amaya.

00:41-00:44 “Legends of tomorrow”
Integrated CG character “Steel” with practical costume and transition back to live actor. Integrated CG Dominator alien and CG heat gun to match established looks.

00:45-00:53 “Charmed”
Developed final look for glowing dagger and the tearing of the CG barrier.
Integrated it through the whole sequence with an extremely quick 911 deadline.

00:53-01:01 “The Flash”
Keyed greenscreen and integrated actors into the CG environment. Enhanced CG with lightning, interactive light, Depth of field, and subtle FG elements in front of the camera.

01:01-01:08 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Developed look of the “Thermocore” using a mix of CG elements and comp tricks.
Matched and integrated look through the sequence.

01:08-01:12 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Integrated CG fire to match established look of Firestorm.
Added interactive lighting and comp elements to help it sit better in the scene.

01:12-01:22 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Integrated CG firestorm to match the look of Firestorm character.
Used 2D comp tricks and survey geo to match the established glowing meteorite look through a dynamic camera move.
Added interactive light and comp elements to integrate it into the live action plate.

01:22-01:36 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Created the final look for “vixen Ashe” spirit hawk effect.
Integrated dark smoke CG elements and adjusted interactive lighting to match.
Added glowing eyes and created “spirit vision” look in comp.

01:37-01:44 “Black Lightning”
Created subtle suit energy look entirely in comp.

Completed look on a 911 deadline and comped it through the sequence.

01:45-01:49 “Supergirl
Developed and integrated glowing brain Mind Control effect look in comp on a 911 deadline.

01:50-01:52 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Integrated CG Steel character with live action costume.
Matched established look of transition.
Added additional reflections and integrated it through the sequence.

Created final look for the CG “Vixen Ashe” powers.
Integrated CG spirit gorilla into the shot, added interactive lighting and glowing amulet to match my established look.

01:55-01:57 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Keyed greenscreen and integrated CG jet with CG sky.

01:57-02:08 “Charmed”
Developed the final look for the CG TV portal and Voxelizing effects.
Led a small team of artists in applying it throughout the episode on a 911 deadline.

02:09-02:11 “Legends of Tomorrow
All CG shot.
Added additional reflections, shadows, interactive lighting, and depth of field in comp.
02:12-02:17 Integrated CG Reverse Flash army into live action plate and matched look to live action actor and costume.
Added glowing eyes, lightning, and vibration blur to match the established look.

02:17-02:21 “Charmed”
Developed look for light whip and Charity portal for TV episodic Charmed.
Added interactive lighting, reflections, and comp treatments to enhance my CG elements and create a complete look.
Comped and integrated this look throughout the season.

02:21-02:27 “Legends of Tomorrow”
Painted out the bottom of the practical set to make the ship look like it is floating.
Added laser blasts to match practical sparks and added heat gun and cold gun effects with interactive lighting and reflections to match the CG elements.

02:21-02:30 “The Flash”
Integrated CG monster with live action plate.
Keyed on-set smoke and sparks to put the monster behind them in the distance.
Added library elements to help it sit better.

02:31-02:40 “Legends Of Tomorrow”
All CG shot.
Added directional beams of light with light-scatter and directional shadows in comp.
