These are some “simple” (not so simple for some people) drills to do for your toe and foot mobility and general stability!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
In seated to start!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Toe waves- while keeping your toe joints on the floor work to lift all your toes and lay them down one at a time and then lift them 1 at a time.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Heel raises- while keeping your toe joints on the floor lift your heel up. Go slow and be sure to keep the weight distributed evenly so that you fold over all 5 toes not just the outside ones⁣⁣
⁣⁣
MTP circles move your foot in circles while staying connected to your toe joints. It will feel like the weight shifts from one toe joint to another consecutively, but dint lose connection with the floor! Be sure to do circles in both directions.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Skin stimulation- use your hands to rub all along your toes and foot, especially in areas that are difficult to move or use. (This is why I did just the big toe!)⁣⁣
⁣⁣
1st toe control- practice moving just the first toe up and down⁣⁣
⁣⁣
bonus- try to keep your toes spread wide throughout the movements as well as maintain contact of the joint and tip of the toe without curling them.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You can do these while waiting for your next flight, on the plane, or any where you feel like taking the time to make some good changes in your body!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The best thing is practicing these skills and then standing up and walking to feel just how HUGE the effect is up through your entire body.⁣

PS: video is 1.5x speed. Go slow and FEEL things⁣
